    customize templates

    Hi,

I am a newbie here. I developed a site with GoDaddy templates and I have below questions:

    1. Can I develop few HTML pages and deploy along with GoDaddy templates content? Basically, I should be able to have hyperlinks in GoDaddy templates to call the HTML pages
    2. Any way to customize the GoDaddy templates?

Please help me to resolve the above issues.

    Thanks,

The included hosting only applies to the built-in templates.  It is technically possible to add a regular web hosting plan on a sub-domain (example.yourdomain.com) to upload pages you've created on your own.

I'd generally only recommend this website builder for those who just need to add content to prebuilt designs.  For those who need more flexibility I'd recommend going with another option, from building the whole site from scratch to using a CMS like WordPress.

    Hi @nagamopuri,

    Welcome to the Community!

While you certainly can create links to go to an HTML created page, you'll need a separate hosting plan to upload those pages to. The reply from @Nate is a good suggestion if you want to use the same domain to support the other pages. For example, your Websites+Marketing plan is using mydomain.com, but the links on the website go to distributors.mydomain.com (any subdomain) at the other hosting plan. The other plan could be a Managed WordPress or a cPanel hosting for your uploaded pages.
