I have run a Christmas broadcast for the past 8 years. I have run my website on a different server but this year I decided to bring it to godaddy with my other site. I have run in to a problem. You guys block port 1221 which allows my website to communicate with my broadcasting program, Sam Broadcaster. The site is only open for 2 1/2 months I really do not want to need to buy a VPS. Are you guys able to recommend another port that is usable on the Shared Server Network? Do not really want to go back to my old hosting provider
Hi @SkyAuburn. Thanks for being part of GoDaddy Community! Our Shared Hosting servers offer the use of port 80 or 443 (for HTTPS). If the service can run using one of those, then that environment might work for you. If not, you may need to use a different service or provider. Sorry
