What city appears when I send a business text or make a call?
Required: To get and use Business Calling & Texting with Conversations, you need to be subscribed to the standalone Conversations app.
Phone calls
When you make calls using GoDaddy Conversations, your business phone number and city/state information will appear on the recipient’s phone. The city is determined by the first three numbers of your phone number after the area code and cannot be changed.
Text messages
City/state information doesn't appear for text messages like it does for phone calls. Location information is usually associated with caller ID for phone calls. When you send a text through GoDaddy Conversations, only your Business Calling & Texting number will appear on the recipient's phone. Likewise, a sender's city or state information won't appear when you receive a message.
