Set up my Business Phone number
With GoDaddy Conversations, get in touch with your customers with a dedicated business number. You'll be able to exchange text messages and talk on the phone with your clients. Your customers can send you images (jpg, png and non-animated gif files) and leave you voicemails when you’re unavailable. There’s no additional cost to get and use a Business Phone number with Conversations.
Note: Calling and texting is only available for U.S. phone numbers.
Initial setup
- Open GoDaddy Conversations.
- Sign into your GoDaddy account.
- Select the website to use with Conversations and with Website Messaging.
- Tap Add Number in the Business Call & Text section.
- Enter a 3-digit U.S. local area code of the city or region where you do business.
- Tap the phone number you want to use.
- Tap Connect to get your dedicated business number.
- On the setup page, you'll see your new Business Phone Number.
- Connect the additional channels you'd like to use.
- Tap Continue to complete the setup process.
You can use GoDaddy Conversations to contact your customers.
Account page
If you didn't set up a Business phone number during the initial setup, you will have an opportunity to set up a number on the Account page.
- Open GoDaddy Conversations.
- Log in to your GoDaddy account.
- Tap Account in the lower-right corner.
- Tap Add Number under the Business Calling & Text.
- Enter a 3-digit U.S. local area code of the city or region where you do business.
- Tap the phone number you want to use.
- Tap Connect to finalize your selection.
- On the Account page, you'll see your new Business phone number.
