How to Forward Both HTTP and HTTPS domains

I have a domain registered with GoDaddy that is hosted with another provider.  We want to use have all domain variations forward to:  https://www.ourdomain.com with the "https" and the "www" so in the Manage DNS section, I created a forward no problem.

Both of the http versions below forward correctly.

http://www.ourdomain.com

http://ourdomain.com

However, the HTTPS domain:  https://ourdomain.com will not forward to:  https://www.ourdomain.com.  Instead, it returns a "connection has timed out" error.

In the Manage DNS section, I can only add 1 forward for the domain.  How can I get both HTTP and HTTPS to forward correctly?

GoDaddy forwarding does not support HTTPS forwarding as they don't provide SSL Certificates on the forwarding system - You would either need to do the domain change on the hosting server or CloudFlare offers a Free SSL and you can do a redirect in their system

The dropbox has to do with the Target site - some sites require you use the HTTPS hence the reason for the dropbox

Thank you for the response.  I understand what you mean, but what I don't understand is when you add the forward in GoDaddy, why does the drop-down have both HTTP and HTTPS as options if they can't do the HTTPS?
