PSA: POSSIBLE SCAM! "FWD: Domain Notification / donotreply@domainsbyproxy.com"

I just received a few emails about new domains I registered. The emails informed me that I needed to do something to ensure customers would be able to find my business online. The sense of urgency is there but thankfully their call to action is very weak lol. Even though this looks like a legitimate email from a legitimate Godaddy service, these emails were a forward by Godaddy's domainsbyproxy privacy service. The ones I received were originally from domains@registrysearchdom.com (domain does not resolve but responds to ping) and the WhoIs info is equally shady, even though it does provide a name and location but who doesn't have domain privacy these days?

I will be emailing abuse@namesilo.com so they can look into it, but in the meantime, be careful with these emails. They are NOT from Godaddy.
