Promo Offer: GoDaddy Payments Fee Credits
GoDaddy Payments has several promotions running right now that reward you with savings by reimbursing transaction fees, up to a specific amount.
- Fee-free payment processing
- Fee credit for the amount of a GoDaddy Smart Terminal Duo
The fee credit offsets the fees GoDaddy normally charges for payments. The credit is awarded to you on each transaction with each payout until the credit is used up.
Here's how the credit is applied:
Let's say your in-person transactions are charged GoDaddy's standard 2.3% transaction fee. GoDaddy gives you a $399 fee credit for the $399 Smart Terminal you just purchased. You process $1000 on your first day. At 2.3%, your fees would be $23 and you would normally receive $977 from GoDaddy as your payout.
The $399 fee credit will offset the $23 transaction fee, so you receive the full $1000 payout that day. That's fee-free processing!
Your new fee credit balance would then be $376 ($399 - $23 = $376) and that fee credit balance will be used again at the next payout until the amount is fully reimbursed. After that, normal fees apply.
Restrictions and Details
- Transactions where the sale amount is less than $2 do not qualify for fee credits.
- Refunded transactions will not return previously applied fee credits to your fee credit balance.
- Your fee credit balance has an expiry date, but you’ll have at least 6 months to use it.
- Partial credits will be applied to the last transaction when your fee credit balance reaches $0.
- For example, if you have $5 fee credit balance remaining and you process a $500 sale, the fees for this transaction are $11.50. The remaining fee credit balance of $5 would be applied and you would only pay $6.50 for this transaction.
