What are the charges and fees for GoDaddy Payments?

GoDaddy Payments is a payment processing gateway that offers competitive rates to other payment gateways. There are no setup fees or contracts. A standard fee is charged per transaction and subtracted from the amount you receive on your deposit.

These are the fees for each type of transaction:

In-person This includes card-present transactions made on GoDaddy Point-of-Sale devices (GoDaddy Poynt Smart Terminal, GoDaddy Smart Terminal Flex, GoDaddy Poynt Card Reader, and Tap to Pay on the GoDaddy Mobile App).

A standard rate of 2.5% is charged per credit, debit, Apple Pay or Google Pay transaction.
E-commerceThis includes card-not-present transactions processed through your Websites + Marketing Online Store/Online Appointments and Managed WooCommerce Stores.

A standard rate of 2.7% plus a flat fee of 30¢ is charged per credit, debit, Apple Pay or Google Pay transaction.
W+M Pay Buttons A standard rate of 2.9% plus a flat fee of 30¢ is charged per credit and debit card transaction.
Online Pay LinksA standard rate of 2.9% plus a flat fee of 30¢ is charged per credit, debit, Apple Pay or Google Pay transaction.
Manual entryThis includes keyed-in transactions processed through Virtual Terminal or the manual keypad entry on the GoDaddy smart terminals or GoDaddy mobile app.

A standard rate of 3.5% is charged per credit or debit transaction.
InvoicingA standard rate of 2.9% plus a flat fee of 30¢ is charged per transaction. 
Chargeback fee  A $15 fee is incurred if your customer files a chargeback (as of November 8 2023). This fee is incurred for every separate chargeback.
Note: These fees are subtracted from the amount you'll receive on your deposit.

There are no additional fees for services related to GoDaddy Payments, including account activation, refunds, or extra credit card fees.
