Allow customers to book online appointments from my Google listing
Note: Google listings are available to Websites + Marketing Premium and Ecommerce plan customers. If needed, first upgrade your plan.
When you connect your Websites + Marketing website to your Google Business Profile, customers and potential customers can book appointments with you directly from your Google listing.
If you later choose to close your GoDaddy account, the online appointment feature will automatically be removed from your Google listing.
Required: Before you begin:
- Add an appointments section to your website. The bookings button will link to this section.
- Make sure you have a Google Business Profile that includes a physical address for your business.
- Be aware that Google only allows bookings and services for certain business types. These include beauty, healthcare, wellness and pets.
To link your Websites + Marketing website to your Google Business Profile:
- Go to your GoDaddy product page.
- Scroll down, expand Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site.
- On your dashboard, expand Appointments, and then select Settings.
- Select Booking Channels.
- On Get Bookings from Google Maps, select Connect.
- Follow the steps to sign in to your Google Business Profile and select the account you want to connect to your website.
- When asked to allow GoDaddy Get Found – Business Listings to access your Google account, select Allow.
- When you reach the screen requesting access to connect to the listing, select Request Access.
It may take up to a day for the appointment service to show up on your Google listing. To check that the connection is successful, visit your listing and look for the bookings button. Selecting it will take you to the appointments section of your website.
Note: Any changes you make to your website, such as changing the name of your service or its pricing, may take up to 24 hours to reflect on your Google listing.
