How to Remove Limit Login Attempts

When I installed WordPress on one of my domains, I checked the have Limit Login Attempts installed. But since then, it has been causing a lot of problems and I need to disable/uninstall it for debugging and other testing. However, I see no option for that on the WordPress admin or GoDaddy dashboard. When I go in via SFTP, it says I do not have permission to edit the mu-plugins folder (where the plugin lives) or any folders within it. I have tried updating the folder attributes and permission is denied for THAT, too.

    How do I :

a)Disable the Limit Login Attempts plugin and

    b) Have permission to rename and even remove ALL folders via SFTP.

Note: I am on Managed WordPress, so I do not have access to File Manager in hosting.
