    UNPUBLISH IS NEEDED. My site in developing is showing public.

    I am working on my site but food out today, it is showing public while it is in the making. How do I unpublished my site while I continue to work on it in staging.

    There a bunch of "coming soon" type plugins that hide the site while you work on it.  They also allow forms for folks to get on a list to be notified when the site launches, count down clocks and you can customize colors, background images, fonts, etc.

     

    Here is the one I use.

     

    Once your site is ready to go, simply deactivate the plugin!

    Hi @engageyourjoy, if you do not wish for your site to display while you're making updates, I'd suggest visiting http://wordpress.org and searching for "maintenance" or "coming soon" plugins that you can install.  Once you have the plugin installed, you can choose what will display on your page when visitors access the domain.  Good luck!
