Renew SSL certificate with wrong CSR

I was trying to renew my SSL certificate for an ASA 5585, I thought that with the previous CSR, generated 3 years ago, it was going to work so it was generated with that CSR, but when I installed it on the ASA, it asks me to create a new one. Generates a new CSR completely different, so when trying to install it I get an error because they clearly do not match. Can I generate another certificate without cost? Or what can I do?

I am having a similar issue. My hosting has provided a new CSR, however GoDaddy has already issued the Certificate.

Is there a way to request another cert with the updated CSR somewhere?
