GoDaddy Conversations Help

Resubmit a rejected business registration

If you’ve registered your business to send texts through GoDaddy Conversations but your registration has been rejected, you can fix the issue and resubmit it, as long as your business is eligible for resubmission.

Note: For local numbers, there’s a $15 fee to resubmit your registration, while resubmission for toll-free numbers is free. It's important that you fill out the application accurately and truthfully to avoid having to resubmit.
  1. On the Conversations mobile app, or from your Conversations inbox on the web, go into any existing SMS or mobile phone voice thread or try to compose a new message. If you’re not sure how to do this, follow steps 1 to 3 in our article on responding to your GoDaddy Conversations messages.
  2. A red banner will appear, explaining that your verification was rejected and you can resubmit your application. On the banner, select See Why.

  3. You’ll be taken to a resubmission page on the web, which shows the rejection reason and how to fix it.

  1. Select Continue until you get to the field(s) you need to update, and then make the changes.
  2. Continue through the flow to complete your resubmission.
  3. Verification takes about 15 business days. We’ll notify you once we have the results and let you know if your business registration was approved or rejected.

If your registration was rejected because your business use case or content is prohibited on our platform, you won’t be able to resubmit, and your business number cannot be used to send texts. Prohibited content includes cannabis, adult services, firearms, vaping products, high-risk financial services and other conduct prohibited by GoDaddy's Terms of Service. To appeal your rejection, please submit a support ticket.
