Add an online store section to my website

Add an online store section to your Websites + Marketing ecommerce website to sell your products.

Note:
  • You need a Websites + Marketing ecommerce plan to add an online store section to your website. If you don't have one yet, upgrade now.
  • If a shopping cart icon doesn't show in the upper-right corner of your website, you're missing an online store section.
  • Only one online store section is allowed. If one already exists, you can move it to a different page and location.
  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. Scroll down, expand Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site.
  3. Select Edit Website to open your website builder.
  4. Go to the page and location where you want to add your online store section, and add a section, searching for Online Store. If you don't see Online Store, you already have it added somewhere else on your site.
  5. Choose a layout:
    • Display your products in a classic, gallery view: This displays all your products and is a better option if you have more than 4 products and want to display all of them.
    • Display a product with a quick purchase option: If you have fewer than 5 products this option works well, showing customers the product details and giving them the option to add the product to their cart quickly, without needing to click on it.
  6. Customize the section, such as the layout and accent color. Use the store shortcuts to add products and set up your shipping and payment settings.
  7. Your changes are saved automatically. Use Preview to see the results and, when you're ready to make the changes public, publish your site.

Related step

  • You can also delete the section and add it again anytime. Deleting the Online Store section does NOT delete any of the products you've added to your store. That information is managed from your dashboard.
