Send an error report to customer support

While working with you to diagnose an issue with your Poynt Smart Terminal, a customer support agent may ask you to send an error report from the device. An error report provides detailed data related to the activity on your Poynt Smart Terminal. Reviewing the error report can help a customer support agent pinpoint issues with the device.

Here’s how to send an error report:

  1. Press and hold the power button on the back of the merchant screen for three seconds.
  2. Tap Take bug report, then tap Report.
