    Domain Buy Service - can not make an offer

    I have bought Domain Buy Service to buy some domain. 

    But, as soon as I bought Domain Buy Service, the status of domain is closed. (Starting offer is $0, and Maximum offer is $0).

     

    I can not make an offer or set offer price. 

    How can I make an  offer for the domain?

    Hi @soyoung and @alexwoo

     

    By default, the starting offer and maximum offer amounts are zero. You must change the minimum and maximum amount you're willing to offer before the Domain Buy Service process can continue.

     

    This article will assist you in changing the offer values. 

     

    And here is a general article to walk you through the process of using the Domain Buy Service.

    Hello, 

     

    I have the same issue, i tried to send an email, but i got a message that there is no email address like this.  

    What Should i do? A phone call is not an option for me.

    The email address should be valid. Be sure you are entering "domainbuy@godadddy.com" when composing your message. If you copied and pasted from this discussion, you may have included an extra space before or after the address which caused the error you described.

    I tried again but without success.  Can you tell me what solution do they offer?

    Ahh this was my fault, I copied and pasted their info without realizing  there was a type in the "Godadddy.com" domain.

    i have the same problem, i can not make an offer.   I called the hotline, and they ask me to send email to domainbuy@godaddy.com, so i sent them email, but i still have not received their reply!  

    what can i do now?

    I also purchased domain buy service, and experience same problem.

    I called to Korea hotline but they couldn't help me, so I sent e-mail to "domainbuy@godaddy.com" 5 days ago.

    But still I haven't got any reply from your company!!!!!

    this is my domain buy page in control panel.

    as I uploaded, this domain is closed.

    when I click domain name to change the minimum and maximum amount, there is no space or blank to fill up.

    I want to know HOW CAN I CHANGE AMOUNT.

    i have followed your guide, but the problem is i can not enter the amounts i want in starting and max offer.  it wont let me enter any number in the field.

     

     

     

    Did you get this resolved as I have the same problem but support are not sure either....

    This is not the solution for those of us who are given a "closed" status upon purchasing this service.

     

    1. What does the "closed" status mean?
    2. How will we be able to utilize the domain buying service if the default status is "closed"?
    3. Why would a domain start with a status of "closed"?

    As a prospective customer, this is certainly not great feedback. Does GoDaddy have a response to the offer process for a taken domain name?
