How to add title to my web site?

How to add title to my web site , I have tried Website Builder > Menu top right corner >Site Settings>Site-wide code >adding <title>My title</title> code to <title>HTML Reference</title> , but it did not work .

Any suggestions how it might work ?

Thank you for your question. Within the website builder there is an easy way to add Titles to each individual page by going to Menu top right corner >Site Settings>Search Engines and filling in the Title and Description areas for each page. As this will highly affect your search engine results it is important to have unique titles per page.
