I am an owner of my domain ZKLAWASSOCIATES.COM from last 8 year. Unfortunately last month I forget to renew my domain on time and I checked it 40 days later. Due to that my domain is not appears in my control panel. After reviewing the whois info it is now registered to someone else.
Is there not any policy of godaddy which allows me to get my domain back?
Domain renewal / redemption periods are set by ICANN and while GoDaddy (and most others) do "auto renew" the domain to keep it for during the grace period - it will typically get released around the 40-45 day time frame.
After 30 days there is usually an additional fee to get it back. The only thing I can advise at this point would be to look into the GoDaddy Domain Broker Program - They "may" be able to help you purchase the domain back from the person who bought it.
