Thoughts of the week

The fall season here in the Phoenix area isn’t nearly so dramatic as in other parts of the country, but I think for most here, fall represents a collective sigh of relief. 95F hits a lot different than 115F, I can tell you that.

And while I’m only partially kidding about trade shows heralding the advent of fall, I do feel inspired by the possibilities that underpin trade shows. From new tech innovations, like those promoted in the Apple “Wonderlust” show last week, to building networks and communities for small businesses at the L.A. Business Show, trade shows can often be pretty inspiring.

Imagining a better future is a mental muscle that’s an important one to flex. And after a long, hot, draining summer here in Arizona, fall is the perfect season to kick off thinking positively and imagining a better future. This article was a refreshing read, check it out if you’re interested in kicking off your fall with some inspiring, empowering thoughts.

Happy autumn eve, thanks for reading, and we’ll see you next week.
