Real Name Validation unknown error

Hello,

After trying to validate the .cn name i purchased, i repeatedly get this error which makes no sense at all:

"An unexpected error occurred. Please try again.Your state must contain 64 characters or less."

If it means state as country state then there are no states here, i entered my name over a hundred times tried differently and the live chat support is always offline and calling is very expensive from here...

Please help me out, thanks.

I just finished with the live chat, so the solution was to go to this link here:

https://dcc.godaddy.com/dcc50/Default.aspx?

Then select click 'edit contact details' and select the box 'use this for all contact types' so it updates globally, the problem was the 'account setting' itself was not updating it.

 

Problem resolved, can now be closed thank you.

Hi @sheridans,

'very expensive from here' where exactly is 'here'? I phone Arizona from Scotland but pay to Glasgow!! I guess you may be from the UK too, try putting your county region in 'your state'.

Oh yes..... Dumfries & Galloway, the 100'th state of the UK Smiley Happy

I tried the solution, it does not work. There is no 'state' option in my user panel for my selected country, i tried putting my previous address in canada also but did not work. The "Real Name Validation" after i enter my name and all, it shows the error. Also a few times the website said there was an error with that page and it has been reported to Godaddy. This is very fustrating, what can i do?
