The domain monetization landscape is changing, and GoDaddy CashParking is evolving with it. Today, we are announcing a significant update to how CashParking monetizes your portfolio.
With Google’s AdSense for Domains (AFD) effectively retiring across the industry, we have upgraded our platform to ensure seamless revenue continuity through the introduction of two new advertiser feeds.
With more innovation lined up, this is just the beginning of the CashParking evolution.
Moving beyond AFD
As the digital advertising market matures, upstream providers are shifting focus toward high-intent, content-driven traffic. We recognized that legacy feeds were no longer sufficient to capture maximum value for our customers.
After significant testing, we’re excited to share that we have transitioned our backend to prioritize two premium ad sources, with more to follow:
1. Google RSOC (Related Search on Content)
We have transitioned our primary integration to RSOC, Google’s next-generation ad platform. This displays relevant search queries within content pages.
This integration reconnects your domains with the full spectrum of Google advertisers. By leveraging semantic relevance and content, we are able to unlock budget from advertisers who demand higher-intent signals.
2. The Yahoo Search Feed
To ensure your portfolio is resilient, we’ve taken our Yahoo Search Feed to the next level with improved advertiser coverage and a streamlined payout process to maximize revenue capture.
This enhanced implementation works alongside Google RSOC to diversify your revenue sources and unlock value from domains across your entire portfolio.
With proven strong performance throughout the parking industry, our refined Yahoo integration ensures you're getting the most from this established advertiser network.
What this means for you
No action is required from you. This backend transition is already underway. Your CashParking domains (including those listed via Afternic) will automatically begin utilizing the optimized RSOC or Yahoo feeds based on traffic performance.
- Your For Sale banner settings remain unchanged.
- Your payout schedule remains unchanged.
While RSOC is the primary way to reconnect your domains with Google’s advertisers, you can choose to only use Yahoo Search Feed. You can do this by calling our support team, who will disable RSOC for your account.
What’s next?
The power of the new CashParking won’t just be in who provides the ads, but in how we select them.
We’re launching an AI-powered system that will act as a real-time analyzer for every visitor that lands on your domain, using machine learning to evaluate traffic patterns and route each impression to the partner — Google RSOC or Yahoo — that offers the optimal monetization path.
Future iterations will see more monetization paths opening, too.
The future is diversified
While Google RSOC and Yahoo Search Feed represent the two monetization options available today, this is just the beginning. Our team is actively testing and evaluating additional revenue streams and partnership opportunities designed to unlock even greater earning potential from your parked domains.
We're investing in modern infrastructure, AI-powered optimization, and new advertiser relationships to ensure CashParking continues delivering maximum value.
