Transferring Domain from GoDaddy Website Builder to WordPress (on GoDaddy as well)

I currently have my site on the GoDaddy Web builder but would like to transfer it to the new site I have build with wordpress, using GoDaddy account as well. How do I make the transfer as smoothly as possible?

Thanks!

Re: Transfering Domain from Go Daddy webbuilder to Wordpress (on GoDaddy as well)

Hey there @WE28319,

If you're on GoCentral, the first thing you'd want to do is change your domain

Once the domain is free to use again, you'll want to add it to your WordPress installation. The way you do this would be entirely dependent on which hosting platform you're using.

You can find information for Managed WordPress here.

You can find information for shared hosting here.

Hope that helps!
