How to set nameservers for root domain but not for subdomain

I have a root domain and a subdomain.

The root domain is pointing to the vps but with a next.js install

The subdomain is also pointing to a vps with laravel installed

I want to deploy my root domain to Zeit/Now with different nameservers then my subdomain, how can i achieve this?

Re: How to set nameservers for root domain but not for subdomain

Hi @DutchPrime,

Welcome to the Community!

Your GoDaddy domain can only point to one nameserver. This nameserver serves as a location - or directory - for the DNS records on your domain as a whole. From there, the individual zone files can direct to the end location to resolve as needed. You are not able to place these DNS records on two different servers. If you need 2 different nameservers, you may wish to use a second domain.
