Think getting your business online takes tons of time and Silicon Valley smarts? Take it from The List's Teresa Strasser and Matt Gallant — it doesn't.

"In this day and age, every business, person and goat needs their own website," Teresa says. "But you don't have to be a Silicon Valley genius to build one," adds Matt. "I did, and I'm kind of computer illiterate."

For a recent segment of The List called "Great Tips to Build Your Own Website," Matt dropped by GoDaddy to chat with Senior VP of Product Raj Mukherjee about what it takes to get online.

"If you can do Facebook, you can do this." ~ Matt Gallant

"It's your identity. It's your brand," Raj tells Matt. "In your case, let's call it mattsawesomesite.com."

As Raj and his crew demoed GoDaddy’s free Website Builder, Matt broke down creating a site with this handy tool in three easy steps:

  1. Get a domain name.
  2. Pick a template and enter your info.
  3. Put that info up for the world to see.

It's really that easy. Check out the video to see for yourself.
